Optometrist Position Available
We are currently looking for an Optometrist to join the Vlismas team for 4 days a week, although we can be flexible with either more or less days if required. The position would be mainly working out of the Narberth Practice but also providing cover at the Newcastle Emlyn Practice.
You would be joining a very experienced and professional support team who prioritise making sure our patients have the very best experience when attending the practice.
You would be supported and encouraged to pursue further education in any areas of clinical work that interests you.
If you believe in exploring all the patients needs, giving clear recommendations on all the products and services that they can benefit from, you have arrived at the right place! We are looking for a part time optical assistant to cover our practice in Narberth, with the occasional cover in Crymych.
When you join our team you will be taken through a bespoke training process as well as
an ongoing review system to keep your training and development on track. As an Optical assistant, your responsibilities will consist of booking appointments, preparing the clinics, updating the records, organising the recall systems and other admin duties. You will also be trained in more customer facing dispensing jobs too, such as frame selection,replenishing frame stocks, and how to dispense basic lenses, fit new spectacles, undertake frame repairs and check in spectacles.
You will be joining a team of individuals that have a genuine passion for their work. How we make our patients feel is just as important as what we do.
